My name is Jasmin Haack and I am 17 years old. I was born on 30.11.1995 as the youngest of six children. Since several years, I live with my parents in Günthersdorf near Leipzig. In Leipzig, I attend the eleventh class of the Robert Schumann High School. In my free time I am playing with my dog and I like reading and listening to music.

Over schuelerjobs.de I found an announcement of Mr. Heckel and was immediately hooked. Because of a student exchange program I was already twice in Ecuador and I love to explore new things. Therefore, I applied. But also because I want to change something in the world and would like to accomplish something useful.

I was accepted and from the beginning I felt comfortable. After high school I want to study plastics technology, so I was immediately impressed by the 3D printer. Especially the visit to Henri Schulz excited me, because he has built himself an observatory. To be able to accomplish such a huge work is something that I strive for.

Now I am really looking forward to learn new things, and to fly to the U.S in April. Until then, however, still much has to be done. But together with my teammates, I think we will succeed.
